Dilîn DÖĞER

TV and film actress Dilîn Döger was born in February 1995 in Diyarbakır, Turkey. As a child she enjoyed to sing and dance to entertain her family.
She graduated from Hacettepe University, with a degree in English Linguistics, and trained in Turkish diction with Özlem Ersönmez at the Talent House Art Academy in Ankara, Turkey. Her love of performing stayed with her throughout her studies and in 2018 she decided to pursue her passion to act. Just one year later, she was discovered by award-winning director Hiner Saleem to play the lead in his next feature film Goodnight Soldier. The film was chosen to screen “online” at the Festival du Cannes’s in 2020. Saleem turned this opportunity it down, preferring the film to premier at a live festival. Goodnight Soldier will premier in 2022. In 2021, Dilîn played Afife, a large supporting role in  ‘Ex Askım’ a TV series for Gain Media Digital Platform. Dilîn is an avid gouache painter, she likes playing her ukulele and attending classical concerts. Dilîn speaks Turkish as native speaker, fluently English and has played in Kurdish.
